THE FEAR OF THE LORD AND HIS MERCY!

Have you ever been in situations in your life where you wondered-how in this World am I going to survive this? How will this end? May be you went to your doctor  because you have had cough for  the last three years and done all kinds of tests, but they could not find out what it is, but now all of a sudden: they have confirmed that you have cancer and there is no cure for cancer!
Have you been in a situation where you had a job before, then all of a sudden-you lost the job and you have tried for years to secure one but it is not working out. Maybe one of your friends has even suggested that you should now come for some kind of job that is available; there are men and women who need your services in quote. Let’s say that you are now doing it but your conscience is alive. You are now afraid not because you fear fear, but because you fear God. Every day now when you get home, you kneel down and cry but you can’t pray. You are wondering-how will this end? How will I survive without this? At the same time, I could die any time doing this.
Psalm 6 and verse 2 tells something the Psalmist said when he was distressed, “Have mercy upon me O LORD; heal me for I am weak LORD, heal me for my bones are vexed”.
The temptation to do just whatever we can find or lay our hands upon is a very dangerous one. The Bible tells us to be careful for our enemy-the devil walks around like a roaring lion-seeking whom to devour! We there need to careful not to walk into snares or traps set by the devil. The situations described above are exactly what we call-long term traps or snares of the devil. If you are careless spiritually or ignorant of the devices of the enemy, or bereft of spiritual revelation-you walk into them.
Jesus came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. When we are ignorant of this truth- we walk in darkness and all these things can dominate your life while you are thinking that it is just natural. However the carnal mind cannot understand the things of the spirit, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If you have been walking in the wrong direction for many hours, and you suddenly discover that you are on the wrong lane what do you do? You turn around. Again in Psalms 25 and verse 7 we read, “Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy, remember me O LORD for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD”.
Jesus brought life and light. Such times of adversity are not times to give up, rather they are times to seek the Lord until He reigns righteousness upon your soul. A persistent crying out of the soul will surely lead to your deliverance. You can receive deliverance by faith like the Psalmist who cried out in His adversitiy,” I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou has considered my trouble; thou has known my soul in adversities;”…
These are times to seek the Lord even more earnestly, am sure that you may feel that you have done well enough at some point to give up, but the Bible tells us not to give up in well doing because in due season we shall reap the harvest. This is because the  scripture tells us again in Psalms 31 and verse 9, that God is a righteous and a good God. In Psalm 33 and verse 5 we read, “He loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord”.
Finally, a miracle is inevitable in a hopeless situation with an unshakable faith in God. All you need is the right word or revelation and a determination to follow the instructions  obey.
God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, and more than we are able to ask or think according to His power that is at work within us!
