REAL CHANGE

I heard someone say something about another one day, but did not understand at that point what he meant.He said "Once a jonkey, always a jonkey", maybe you have heard that before.However, recently, I heard a preacher explain what it means, and I said to myself, ya ya, i always knew that.You know very well, that people in the World, tell us, that once you you are white, you will always be white, and once you are black, you will always be black, some even go to the exetent of quoting scripture.Thus you hear things like "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the Leopard, it's spots, then may you also do good, who are accustomed to  doing evil",(Jer 13:23).In as much as you read this inthe old testament, there are better scriptures, that superceed this scripture in the New Covenant.These people are saying simply, that if you have an addiction, you will always have an addiction, if you have been addicted to drugs, you will always be a drug addict, if you are a prostititute, you will always practice prostititution, if are a drunkard, you wii always be addicted to drinking, if you addicted, to porn, you wiil always be a porn addict, if you suffered from sexual abuse, you will always be washed up, and out of control.I heard that many women who are into the porn industry entered it because of the sexual abuse of a father, or some other relative, or a minister of the gospel.They feel justified or trapped to a point that they think that they will always remain that way.This same evil mindset is the reason somany people doubt the intergrity of the Ministers of the gospel, especially when they know that they had a bad past.As a result of this approach, so many are forced to hide their problems and pretend to be who and what they are not while suffering inside.Many are defeated in their lives because of this lie of the devil.However there isone question, I will like to ask you, and that is-WHOSE REPORT WILL YOU BELIEVE?My Bible tells me in 2 Cor, chapter5 and verse 17, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation;old things are passed away;behold, all things are becme new."This the report of the Lord for the man that is in Christ Jesus.This means that the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross of Calvary, automatically, radically, transforms you life.This is not a gimmick, it  is the authentic work of theHoly Spirit. There are many today, nd I mean so many today who are pastors, teachers, evangelists, healers, church workers, who are clean and living holy lives by the power of the Holy Spirit, because, they simply encountered Jesus. I know of a dear man of God today who is reaching, healing and delivering people by the millions on television.He said that he was a drug dealer.He was a drug addict, he was so bound and so bad that his mother gave up on him.Infact his mother confessed that the day he left home, she thought that she will never see him again, that some one most likely would kill him, but today, that man is not changed, has been extremely blessed by God and is now a blessing to many.It does not matter what you may be going through right now, but there is hope in the name of Jesus.Refuse to believe a lie and refuse ti live a lie.There many christians who do not have it all together today, but they know that they are experiencing change.The Bible tells us that he whom the son sets free is free indeed.
