I bluntly refuse to be discouraged, or brought down.God is my portion and I am his, and in his light, and he said that he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, because I am the light of life.Depression and the gloominess that follows it are caused by the spirit of heaviness- a spirit of darkness.This spirit shall not thrive in a place where the light of God almighty is resident.I therefore refuse to lack joy because it is not in my nature.
